We have certainly seen a lot of changes in the United States government in the first month of the year and to be frank I didn't agree with any of them. But what I do know is God is still in charge. That does not mean that people are not responsible for their choices and consequences though. Never forget that.

Despite the heavy weight of cumulative grief I'm carrying along with a lot of stress, I made the decision last year to return to school and start my doctoral journey. Even within that decision, it doesn't mean that I have the energy every day to devote to it, but I praise God for everything I'm able to do, from breathing, to activities of daily living, to seeing, to hearing, to having a place to stay and food to eat, but most importantly for God giving me His grace and His strength while I have none.

Lord, I thank you for everything and I will praise your name as long as I have breath.

Psalm 103:1

King James Bible

A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
